Cricketer and broadcaster David Gower was amongst the guests at the Chesil's latest fundraising event.

The Chesil Theatre recently enjoyed another successful fundraising event. Guests mingled with David Gower and his family along with the Mayor Cllr Sue Nelmes at the pre-show drinks reception held in the City Museum. Afterwards guests headed for the The Screen cinema where they enjoyed following the antics of Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom, in another swashbuckling adventure.

The film offered more intrigue, more spectacular effects and more comedy...!

All profits from the evening will go towards the Chesil Theatre's Development Appeal, launched to raise funds for an exciting project, which will greatly enhance and extend the facilities of this much-loved unique Winchester theatre.
