Sophie and Justin are driving through a picturesque desert on
honeymoon. Life has never been better, until they find themselves lost, stranded
by an empty petrol pump and its enigmatic attendant.
Believing more petrol will arrive at any moment, they party the night away under the stars. But as a global crisis escalates, Justin and Sophie realize their survival is at stake, and complacency gives way to desperate measures as precious supplies of energy and water start to run out. Funny, touching and provocative, Black Stuff takes comedy to physical and emotional extremes to ask – just how far would you go to defend your lifestyle?
