Basic information

Reading: Friday, 12 November, 2010 at 7.45 pm

Auditions: Sunday, 14 November at 4.30 pm and Monday 15 November at 7.45 pm

Set in mid-60's London. A drugfilled doll has disappeared from the
Henderson flat. The three crooks are anxious to find it.

Having worked out an involved plot they think it will be easy to get Susy to reveal where the doll is, as her only companion is the girl in the flat upstairs.

In - I hope- a terrifying climax Susy makes use of her blindness
to try and outwit the criminals - will she succeed?

Characters:

  • Susy Henderson: - 20's - 30's. Resourceful but coming to terms with her blindness
     

  • Sam Henderson: 20's - 30's: Susy's husband who is a photographer
     

  • Mike: 20's - 30's: Petty criminal
     

  • Croker: 20's - 30's: Petty criminal
     

  • Roat: 40's: Hardened criminal, not a very nice character
     

  • Gloria: 10 - 11 years/or with learning difficulties: She lives upstairs and helps Susy and keeps her company
     

  • Policeman/Policewoman: small parts in last act.
