Our motivation is fun!

Membership costs and workshop fees     

To join the youth workshops, a child must become a Youth Member of the Winchester Dramatic Society. This costs £9 a year and includes the theatre's insurance cover.

Youth Members enjoy most of the other benefits of full membership of the society and are invited to participate in all our theatrical and social activities. For the further payment of £6 they may also join our ticket club to purchase as many reduced price tickets as they wish for our main productions during our members' priority booking periods. Youth members can also contribute to the future plans for the youth workshops but they do not have voting rights on society matters.

Workshop fees are currently £25 per 10 week term.

Fees for any ad-hoc holiday activities will vary between £6 and £8 per day.

All fees cover the costs of tuition and help to contribute to the costs of running, maintaining and improving the fabric and facilities of our historic building.

In deserving circumstances, and in line with our own charity status, we waive the cost of workshop fees for certain members.
