Journey deep into the woods but whatever you do, keep to the path, there are strangers lurking in the shadows. From runaway princesses to sinister stepmothers and resurrecting snakes, it's a captivating world where magic meets the macabre, secets fester under trees and justice creeps in unexpected forms.

These are no Disney fairy tales, these are dark, dangerous and very Grimm!

Contains use of flashing lights.
This production is not suitable for ages 12 and under.

Reading and Audition Info.

Our readings are social occasions where members of the public are welcome to join us reading the play! They give a sense of the play, and the director's vision, but they are not auditions and are open to all. The reading for Philip Pullman's Grimm Tales will be at 7:30pm at the theatre on 6th March 2026.

The cast comprises of 3 females (1 18-30, 1 30-50 and 1 50+), 3 males (1 18-30, 1 30-50 and 1 50+) and 4-8 puppeteers and movement performers, of any age and gender. Auditions will be held at 7:30pm on 8th and 9th March at the theatre. You do not need to attend both dates and do not need to book to audition, just turn up!
