While researching his new novel, Charles Condomine invites eccentric medium, Madame Arcati, to hold a séance at his home. The unintended consequences lead to a merry dance of mayhem and murder. with one husband, two feuding wives and a hint of mischief in the air. The sparkling, witty play will be directed by Tom Williams.
Tom said: "Blithe Spirit was written in 1941 as an ‘improbable farce’ to bring some light relief in the darkest days of the war and ran for 1997 performances.
Hardly a year has passed since without a production somewhere in the UK. Indeed, this is the third presentation at the Chesil Theatre, the others being in1974 and 2002."
