Divorced couple Amanda and Elyot honeymoon in France with their new spouses, only to find that they have hotel rooms next to each other. This quick-witted comedy traces the hilarious events as chaos unfolds after such a fateful chance encounter.

Reading and Audition Info.

Our readings are social occasions where Chesil members and members of the public can come and either join in with a read-through of the play, or simply listen in! They give a sense of the play, and the director's vision, but they are not auditions and are open to all. The reading for Private Lives will be at 7:45pm at the theatre on 13th October 2023.

The cast comprises of 2 males, 2 females. Ages 30s-40s, 1 female 20s. Auditions will be held at 7:45pm at 15th & 16th October at the theatre. You do not need to attend both dates and do not need to book to audition, just turn up!
